    Hi,

I'm just in the process of setting up a site and would like to change the Portfolio so that it defaults to a particular category when the page loads (instead of the 'ALL' option that is used as standard).

I have seen your answer to this post from 11 months ago which appears to offer a solution to the same problem, however I'm not able to follow the steps described in the earlier post as the file 'portfolio-query.php' does not exist in my version of the /wp-content/themes/kalium/tpls/ folder.

Do you have an updated solution that would enable me to set the default portfolio category of my choice? I do have a child theme in place.

    Thanks for your help!
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

For the moment this option is not possible. We have added this on our to-do list and this feature will be available through theme updates next year.

    Hi Ylli,

Thanks for your response, I look forward seeing this update in the new year - hopefully early on ;)

In the meantime have a great Christmas and happy new year!
