If you use Visual Composer or LayerSlider plugin but can't update it, please just go to Plugins and deactivate this plugin. Then go to Appearance > Install Plugins again, you now can update and activate this plugin again.
P.S: On version 2 of Kalium you can activate your product, when you activate the product, then you can update your theme from the Wordpress dashboard, so you don't need Envato Toolkit or Envato Market after the version 2 anymore. You can deactivate and uninstall those two plugins.

If you haven't installed Envato Market plugin yet, just go to Appearance > Install Plugins and install the plugin.

You can update Wordpress to the latest version but it's recommended to update your theme too with he method that i wrote on the last message.
