I am not sure where are you trying to put that shortcode, but portfolio items shortcode only works on Pages, I don't know why you want to include portfolio items shortcode in slider?

I would like to know can i add the shortcode of portfolio in Slider Revolution?
I have tried to insert a shortcode like [lab_portfolio_items] but it doesn't work, I have used the following custom css as well.

The Revolution slider divs will cause "Portfolio items" shortcode to shrink and not work properly if used inside any slide.
Can you tell me how do you want your page to be structured so I can give you any hint to achieve that.

You can do that if you import the demo content and use this type of portfolio.
As stated in our Showcase, not every site uses native parts of the theme and the first link does not even use Kalium.
