    Hi,

is it possible to sort the portfolio items reverse on portfolio page. Default they are sorted  by publish date/time. First the oldest and at the end the newest.

I will show as first the newest and at the end the oldest.

Could you please help me to do that?

    Thanks!

    Hi Achim,

You can change the ordering of Portfolio Items easily by using the Post Types Order plugin, install and activate it, manage the ordering easily by dragging the titles of the items and don’t forget to Save all changes.

Please don't forget to go to Settings > Post Types Order > and activate Auto Sort option

Also if you want those changes to take effect on portfolios that you have called with Visual Composer then you need to do this:

    Hello Ylli,

    I unfortunately can't find a solution jet.

Is it possible you give help with a code solution of Portfolio sorting. Simple reverse sorting of default. I guess it is not the original wordpress query, because wordpress always sorting from new to old. The Portfolio in masonry style is sorted from old (top and down) to new. Where does Kalium make the query?

All plugins aren't satisfactory, so far.

    Hi Ylli,

    I've found it already.

It is defined in "laborator_portfolio.php" located in the "inc" folder of kalium.

On Line 1166 "ASC" sould be changed to "DESC", thats all. Well laborator should make it adjustable through theme options in the next versions. I think this is important.

    Hi Achim,

We will take a look at this feature and see when and how we can include it into the Theme Options.

    Best regards,
    Laborator Team
