This may help with the first question, when you use the website on a smartphone, the first click it shows the information, and then you have to click it again to visit the internal page.
1. Currently that's possible only if you set the portfolio items to classic, the text and categories at the bottom of the image, we have added this to the fix list but we don't have any ETA when this will be possible.
2. Unfortunately that's not possible, there is no Zoom In or Zoom Out when clicking on the lightbox.
I dont understand what is the problem with the zoom feature. Your other theme in your template http://demo.kaliumtheme.com/photography/#image-gallery/1 has control option for the lightbox. Even inside the template's control panel (portfolio>lightbox options) i have the options to display these controls but they are not showing!
If you are using the Lightbox type as one of the portfolio types then these changes will apply there, this Lightbox type is used in the link you provided but it won't work for any other lightbox throughout the site.
I know you may be frustrated with the reply but we don't usually give support on Weekends and focus more on developing the theme.
We are a team of 3 people who design, develop and give support for this theme so we are not able sometimes to get on time, especially now that we're nearly to release the version 2 of Kalium.

Hello. I have two questions:
-When you hover over a portfolio thumbnail, you have to click twice to activate the internal link, is there a way were i can only click one?
-Is there a way to zoom in images inside a lightbox? I want this because i have very tall images, and would like to see more details on the images.
