I have a 12 column masonry grid on the home page with hover states that contain links to the category for each thumbnail. The problem is that when these links are clicked on, the URL is not the same as the top nav category dropdown.
Here's an example URL that's on the thumbnail hover state for the category:
Thanks for your response. I pasted the code into functions.php but now I get a 500 server error when trying to access the site. Is there a specific place in functions.php where it needs to go?
I pasted the code at the end of functions.php and this is what happens: I immediately get a 500 error- see screenshot. Not sure what the issue is. I tested in Chrome and Firefox on a Windows machine.
Can you please share your FTP credentials here, because we need to login to your site and see this issue live. Your information is safe (private) in this thread.

I was able to login to your FTP and realized that this is happening because of theme version.
You are using an old version of our theme 1.8.9 and the latest version for the moment is 1.9.4.2, please update your theme first and then the premium plugins too.
Can you please update the theme first, after that the category links will be the same in all pages because we have fixed this issue in 1.9 version of Kalium.
Important: After you update the theme please don't forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.
If you can't update LayerSlider, go to Plugins and deactivate this plugin. Then go to Appearance > Install Plugins, you now can update and then activate Layer Slider again.
If you like our theme, it would help us a lot if you could give us five star rating on themeforest from your Downloads tab, (if you don't know how, just open this link).
A huge thank you from Laborator in advance and have a great week!

How do I make the hover state category links the same as the top nav dropdown category links?

Hi mmaltais,
You should paste it at the end of the document, is it working now or you have removed it completely?
Best regards,
