I am facing the following error when I access the home page after I have activated the child-theme.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function aurum_clean_excerpt() in ...\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\aurum\inc\laborator_actions.php on line 1047
Please advise.

It is on my personal machine , I have yet to upload to a hosting machine. Please let me know how do share my localhost credentials.

If you have added /inc folder on the child-theme then you need to remove laborator_functions.php from that folder.
