    Hi,

    I have a question:

    In this portfolio page, when I hover over 2 of the pictures, it shows '2015 6', while other pictures don't have this effect. I wonder why.

    And I actually quite like this effect, is there somewhere i can set this up?

    Thanks

    Hi Mei,

    This is happening because those images have Captions, you just need to remove caption text on those images if you want to hide the text. Video: http://drops.laborator.co/GtBV

    Hi Ylli,

    Thanks for your quick help. I got that correct.

    I noticed in your video, that under the image there is a section of description. How come I don't have it, and how can I find it?

    Thanks

    Hi Ylli,

    Thanks I got it. Can I ask you 2 other questions?

    1. In the portfolio page, can I adjust the size of the pictures? I wish them to have less in height, so more like a 16:9 size.

    2. I see in the portfolio demo content that you can adjust the hover effect, like these examples: http://demo.kaliumtheme.com/main/masonry-v3/or http://demo.kaliumtheme.com/main/portfolio-4-col/

    But I didn't find where I can make different colors, or make the 'eye' in the center moving as in the example shows.

    Could you explain me how to do that?

    Thanks

    Hi Mei,

    1— I think that you can't do this change. That is the dimension of the Featured image, if you want to made them close to 16:9 you should upload a wide featured image.

    2— To change hover color of the projects individualy you can do that easily http://drops.laborator.co/1jprv

      — to change them globally you should do those chnages http://drops.laborator.co/1flkB

    Hi Ylli,

    1. Actually most of my featured image are 16:9. If I switch to another demo portfolio page, you will see that (attached sample 2).

    It's only that all these pages are from the demo content I imported, but I don't know where to edit it myself.

    I want the image size to be like sample 2 (I'll cut all the images to be 16:9), but I'd like the layout to be like sample 1.

    2. Got it, thanks

    Regards

    P.S: You are using an old version of our theme (1.9.4.1) and the latest version for the moment is (1.9.4.2), please update your theme first and then the premium plugins too.

    The easiest way to update our themes is if you use Envato Toolkit or Envato Market plugin. On this link How to update Themes and Plugins you can learn this easy step-by-step procedure :)

    If you are using Envato Market plugin to update your theme, just follow this little procedure http://drops.laborator.co/pLFH

    Important: After you update the theme please don't forget to go to Appearance > Install Plugins to update all your premium plugins to the latest version that we support.

    If you can't update LayerSlider, go to Plugins and deactivate this plugin. Then go to Appearance > Install Plugins, you now can update and then activate Layer Slider again.

    Hi Mei,

    1— That works only if you choose the Visible Titles portfolio type. http://drops.laborator.co/10jWz

    As for your last question:

    That was happening because you added 10px only on the Header Settings, i fixed that for you http://drops.laborator.co/KXjN

    Hi Ylli,

    1. In that case, I still don't get why http://www.ameimei.nl/work/ on this page the feature images are not 16:9 since I cut them this way.

    2. OK. But do you know why their is a white frame around the page? I don't really care the white space on left and right, but the upper and lower white space are really annoying. Especially on my ipad, When I score up, the frame also goes up.

    Thanks

    Hi Mei,

    1— I searched for this and first it seemed strange, but then i saw that you have clicked No on the Dynamic Image Height option http://drops.laborator.co/GMt. I fixed that for you.

    2— Can you please add the code below to Custom CSS

    @media screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
        .page-border {
        display: none !important;
        } }

    Hi Ylli,

    1. ok got it, thanks.

    2. The white frame is still there if I view it on my computer... And on my ipad, it looks something different but weird. There is no white boarder underneath the page, but there are 2 grey bars on the lower left and right side. I have no idea where they are from.

    Regards

    Hi Mei,

    2— Maybe the best way is to remove borders by going to Laborator > Theme Options > Theme Styling > Theme Borders.
