another question: How can I add the search bar in the theme option from the 1. tier menu to the 2. tier menu? I can only find an option to hide the search sign completely, but I'd like to have it on the "small" menu below the main menu. Also, how can I make it switch its side from left to the right?

You can't have the search button on the menu below, it is available only for the top menu, regarding your other questions - they are assigned to our other team members so they will reply to you.
