i changed the background color of the contact form tabs to plain white - my own contact page is very similar to your demo - and was searching for a simple setting in the row or element to make a. the contact form placeholder text black, and b. the active tab title text black. couldn't find the setting, so changed it with two css snippets.

of course. i am asking specifically about the contact forms tab element on the /contact/ page. this comes from the 'custom portfolio layout' template in the theme demo. the row includes the contact forms in a column on the left, and a single image on the right. the background of the whole row is #222222 dark grey, and i'm experimenting with making it white. then of course i need to change all the text elements to black (on white background). i can change the inactive tab text color placeholders to black with .message-form .form-group .placeholder in css, but i cannot get the ACTIVE tab text color to change. should be simple?
