I recently updated wordpress (today) and my website returned a internal server error every time I access the admin area. I deactivated the core plugins and it worked, suggesting one of you core plugins is currently faulty.

    Hi George,

Hmm this is strange, can you please send us your error log and we will understand what the problem is and probably fix your problem.

    Hi George,

Can you please update the theme as we released a new update and see if you get the same result with our suggested plugins.

    Best regards,

    Hi George,

These errors are not related to our theme, as you can see many of the errors are:

PHP Warning: Module 'ionCube Loader' already loaded in Unknown

So, I suggest you to contact your hosting and ask about ionCube to see if its compatible with latest version of WordPress 4.6

Or maybe disable ionCube at all, and see if it solves this issue.

    UPDATE:

I have been spending most of the last two days trying to fix this, with the help of multiple hosting provider technicians. They seem to think the problem lies with one of the core theme plugins you using, I have tried vie FTP to isolate which one it is but cant. Most of the site seems to be working apart from editing portfolio posts: I can for instance preview a portfolio item page from my dashboard, but I get a 500 internal server error when I try to edit it.

These error logs might not be of any use as a lot of these error have been solve, to suggest it is a plugin. But here they are:

    Hi George,

I am sorry about the time you have spent trying to fix this issue, however as you can read the error, it is related either to ionCube Loader or your server configuration is very limited.

Can you please set up a new installation of WordPress so I can try to install and install demo content for you (just tell me which demo package you want to install).

For this I am going to need to login to your WP admin panel so please include your WP credentials as well.

    Hi George,

I thought you want just to set up the new site with Kalium, but since you already have the content leave it that way.

The problem here is that even if you switch the theme you will have the same internal errors I guess, it is a matter of hosting environment, we have been handling issues of over 8500+ clients and have came in conclusion that some hosts do not simply allow wordpress to function normally.

If you have another host (wordpress friendly, just for testing) you will manage to set the theme up.
