I was wondering if its possible to show the featured image from my posts in the search results in Google? Now you only see the title and excerpt, but many other blogs have a nice small featured photo to the left below the title.
I hope you can help me out, because it converts a whole lot better with a photo in the search result.
Thats a great suggestion, so I have implemented this feature in our theme, to quickly integrate it before theme update is ready, here is what you need to do:
Download this file and replace it in this directory (of the theme): /inc
This should take effect. It will show "featured image" of the post as google thumbnail.

After having uploaded the laborator_actions.php a lot of people have contacted me, because they are not able to see any of my posts on my blog udbye.dk. They can see the frontpage, but all other posts are blank.
I have uploaded the old file and now everything is working again.
Can you solve the problem? It seems that the new file you gave me is causing these issues.
Its weird how that happens, I need to test why this is happening.
Can you please share your FTP credentials here, because I need to login to your site and test this issue. Your information is safe here (private) in this thread.

I've managed to add the "thumbnail" meta property to blog posts, here is the screenshot:

Your posts should have thumbnails in search results by now. (Its just a matter of time when google will fetch new content)
