1. Can you tell me where do you want to place that Facebook button?
2. To show language switcher (if you are using WPML) you can do this in Theme Options > Header > Top Menu Bar, then select Language Switcher to show in left or right part of the top menu bar.
1. I want to place the FB Button to the right at the Header Menü.
2. I switched the Hide to language switcher but I can see nothing. Nothing on the Website and nothing in the Dashboard. Whats the different to WPML langugae & currency switcher?
2. The difference between WPML Language & Currency Switcher, is that if you use multiple currencies plugin it will show currency switcher dropdown along with language switcher.
1. I downloaded the file but where is the :/tpls of the theme? I can´t see it in the Editor.
2. Is this the right setting for switching the language? (file) How can I see the dashboard in the other language. But I have to choos the language first?!
1. Can you please share your FTP credentials here, because I need to login to your site and add the button. Your information is safe here (private) in this thread.
Make sure to choose "Private Reply" when you send us sensitive information!
Also give me your Facebook Button Code here so I will add to the site header.
2. After I login to your FTP I will set the switcher and let you know which is the right one.
As for language switcher, you need to have WPML installed in order for that to work.
Are you going to install WordPress in 2 sites and access them in 2 different URLs with different language? Or want to use single wordpress installation and translate it with WPML?
How do you translate the site to English and German then? Because I need the URL that sends to English site, and one that sends to German translated site.
There are two ways of making site multilingual, one is using Multisite and the other is WPML. For multisite you can refer to this article:
Our theme is compatible with WPML but it premium plugin if you want to install.
It will simplify the translation process and make it managable in single wp installation. If you decide to use WPML, you should also install this free plugin:
I don't know why but the tpls/header-top-bar.php was not updated to latest version so I have updated that file by myself so it works now and the FB button is shown. I haven't changed anything else, just updated the previous mentioned file.
Hi,
I just want to know, how can I add the Facebook Button for my Website and how can I add the posibility to get the Site in a other language as well?
Thank you.
Best Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
1. In order to place the Facebook button you need to replace one file (this fix will be included in the next update):
Download this file and replace it in this directory (of the theme): /tpls
Then to add the facebook button, add the following code in functions.php (end of file):
2. The difference between WPML Language & Currency Switcher, is that if you use multiple currencies plugin it will show currency switcher dropdown along with language switcher.
Sorry Arlind,

Please explain the step how or where can I put the downloaded file into the :/tpls
Thank you

Hi Alex,
After adding this code in function.php
The facebook button is shown in your site.
Hi Arlind,
thank you very much for the installation but I need not a share button, I need just the FB-Button for visiting the FB-Site.

Hi Alex,
All right, I have set only link to facebook, this is the code you need to apply in functions.php next time you update the theme:
As for language switcher, you need to have WPML installed in order for that to work. Are you going to install WordPress in 2 sites and access them in 2 different URLs with different language? Or want to use single wordpress installation and translate it with WPML?
HI Arlind,
thank you for your help on the FB-Button. Thats great service.
Means, I will install the WPML Widget?! I want to translate just the Main URL not a extra URL.
Regards, Alex
Hi Alex,
Aha, so your sites have different URLs, can you give me the URLs of your sites so I will send you the code to show language switcher.
No, I have just one URL.

Hi Arlind,
I will only have one Website. The URL is www.rodererverlag.de (not online yet). Out of this site, I want to translate it in english also.
Best Regards,
Alex
Which one would you prefer?
Hi Alex,
Our theme is compatible with WPML but it premium plugin if you want to install.
It will simplify the translation process and make it managable in single wp installation. If you decide to use WPML, you should also install this free plugin:

So its up to you.
Thank you very much Arlind!
You are welcome Alex.
Have a great weekend.
Hi Arlind,
my Facebook Button disappeared. I think it was after the theme-update. I added the code into the function.php again but it is not working.
Thank you for your help.
Best Regards,
Alex
