Hi, I am having issues with the stock management in woocommerce and I'm not sure if it's related to the theme or not. I thought I should check with you and see if others have reported the problem. When an item is purchased, it does not reduce the number of items in stock. I have "enable stock management at the product level" checked under the inventory tab on each product. Also, under Woocommerce > Settings > Products, I have "Enable Stock Management" checked. I can give you the wordpress login info if needed, but don't want to post it in a public ticket, however, I want to post my ticket to public in case it can help others with this issue.
This issue was reported in previous times and it is related to WooCommerce, the best way to trouble shoot this is to switch to another theme, and try the same steps to see if the stock is reduced!
Please note that we are going to publish the new update of Oxygen this week and it will be fully compatible with latest version of WooCommerce, so this also can help you, however if you switch the theme (Storefront theme, woocommerce official theme) and it doesn't work, then you should address this question in WooCommerce forum.
Thanks, Arlind. I will wait for the new theme to be released and update both woocommerce and the theme. If there are still issues, I will try changing themes to troubleshoot. I've never changed themes, so I'm a little concerned. Will I lose customizations I've made? Can I easily switch back and forth? The website is live, so I hate to switch it, but may do it anyway in the middle of the night or something if necessary.
The update will take time to be released but by the next week we are planning to release it, if you just disable the theme the settings will remain the same :)
