Hello,
I've pretty much finished my site, and I would just like some advice on how to optimize the website for google searches. Currently when I search for the website, the descriptor says the following: "A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt" - is there a recommended plugin that I can use to fix SEO issues? Or any other advice?
Thanks!
Hi Cathrine,
Please go to your WordPress dashboard > Settings > Reading and untick Discourage search engines from indexing this site
And to extend SEO possibilities on your theme you can use Yoast SEO plugin.
hmmm... that was unticked. Any other thoughts?
