I am setting up theme's supported dummy content to a site. During the demo content installation I got this notification:
max_input_time
Medium
60
-1
I tried changing related value using .htaccess, php5.ini and indeed wp_config file and since nothing works thus I am writing this email to you so that you can check. I am sure you will suggest some good solution that will let me install dummy content.
Let me know if you need any additional details so that I will share them with you at the earliest.
Have you contacted your hosting company to see if they can increase your PHP limits? The other way to import the dummy content is by importing the XML file from the theme files.
Here are the steps you should need to follow in order to install demo content:
From the downloaded file from ThemeForest Downloads page, extract the archive and go to Kalium-Full-Package > Extras > Demo Content > Agency folder.
Login to your WordPress admin (/wp-admin) and go to Tools > Import and choose theWordPress system from the list to import.
Before starting the Import phase, make sure you have already have installedWooCommerce plugin (if you want to import the products from demo content)
If you have not already installed WordPress Importer plugin, you will get a popup that will offer you to install that plugin with one click, so click Install Now button.
Then activate and run importer plugin.
In the third step you will see a file chooser input, there you upload the latest version XML file
Click Run & Import, and you will be redirected to Assign Authors page.
Before clicking submit, make sure you check the box that says “Download and import file attachments” (otherwise the theme will not work properly)
All files will be downloaded and you will have the exact content as seen on demo.kaliumtheme.com
