Have you done something with this?? it seems to be working now.... if yo udid would yo mind sharing?

    Hi Andres,

We haven't touched anything on your site. Maybe you are using any caching plugin and the changes are not applying instantly.

Anyway glad to hear that the problem is solved now :)

    Hi,

I have found now that the problem is everytime i empty the cache from w3 cache it crashes and then after 20 min they come back... any ideas? w3 is a well known for caching.

    Thanks

    Kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

We recommend you to not use this plugin when you edit your site. Or use only WP Super Cache and delete W3 Total Cache plugin.

    Andres replied

    Yilli,

The problem is not directly related to the plugin... as I mentioned, when i dissable the plugin or delete the cache files, then, it causes the bug.

I would very much apreciate if you could take a look at it..

    Thanks

    Kind regards

    Hey,

Look, I took a screenshoot of the problem, and at this point I did not clear cache, it just happened randomly:

    1. Image missing

    2. Name of the product missing (insted it shows page title in both)

    3. Price is correct for the products that should be showing

    4. No errors in console.

Please help me this is desperating...

To give you a clue on what the problem could it be, if instead of a carousel you use a product display (no scrolling side by side), it still does the same thing... it is clearly something wrong with the new visual composer carousel as in the shop everything is fine....check the image https://s32.postimg.org/qwqqdec9h/carousel.png In this particular case, it was showing up with no carousel, but is not the colution, as after a few hours it will not show it anymore.

    Hi Andres,

I just wanted to inform you you that this question is related to theme developer and I am unable to give you any solution about this because I am not backend developer.

Our theme developer Arlind can help you with this, but he is not in the office until 18 July. So when Arlind come back, just reply to this thread and you will make sure he will see your comment.

    Hope for your understanding :)

    Hi,

Is your developer back from holidays? can you please ask him to look into this? It is quite urgent now.

    Hi Andres,

I just got back from holiday, so I am now able to help you with this issue.

As I saw in your page, the images are now showing properly. I have also disable cache plugin and they are shown!

Is it possible for you to tell me how can I reproduce your issue, and probably record your screen if you think I cannot see the error.

    Andres replied

    Hi Arlind,

The images can be seen now, because im using another plugin to show the products, and i aplied same css. So in other words, im not using the carousel from visual composer. Still that, there is a problem with the link of the product, and once more it happens most of the time but not allways, and not in every language. The configurable products in the carousel are not linked properly, and for some reason they dont respect properly the css class (you will notice it does not have part in bold and part in not bold). So im in same situation, but at least it does not show an error image.. it shows the product image, but the link goes no where.. it simply links to the home page.

I can give you access to the installation if you want so you can take a look at it personally.

    Thanks

    kind regards

    Hi Andres,

I have changed some code in products carousel, here is carousel I have added in this private page:

    http://www.oxynergy.com/test-carousel/

Can you please check and see if its all right?

  •  4
    Andres replied

    Hi Arlind

I can see that carousel, but as you might already notice, the bug happens sometimes, and not others. We can try to put it up on the home page and see. But my question is.. did you find any bug/problem? how should i move that carousel on to the home page?

    Thanks

    Kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

I have replaced some files that have caused issues with image and product linking reported by others so I guess now it should work properly.

I have added the carousel to homepage for you, simply removed the shortcode:

    [wcps id="3605"]

Now it shows fine the products. If you see the issue again, please let me know.

    Andres replied

May i know what files are those and what the problem was please?

    Thanks a lot.

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

The main file causing this issue (products query overriding) was this:

    wp-content/themes/aurum/inc/lib/laborator/laborator_gallerybox.php

It seems unrelated to the issue, but there was some code that broke the products query and the images were messing.

    Hey,

I just noticed, that it use to show the price, but it does not do it anymore in the carousel Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

I think your homepage is being cached because I tried to add query string in the url to request latest copy of that page and the price shows just fine, see here:

    http://www.oxynergy.com/?test=123

Make sure the homepage cache is cleared.

    You are absolutely right.. sorry.

I have one last question for you.

I searched on google for indexed pages, and i found that under images, there are some kind of indiviadual page images being index... is there anyway i can avoid this. This would be an example of what im talking about: http://www.oxynergy.com/shop/power-infuse-up-gravity/pi-up-gravity/

    Thanks

    Kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

    Great to hear that.

As for page indexing, I've found a plugin for that:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/pc-hide-pages

It will add nofollow index for search engine robots.

    Hopefully this will help you.

    Andres replied

    Hi Arlind,

That plugin hasnt been updated for 2 years. But appart from that, my question is more like.. what are those pages-? once i understand what those (image archive??) pages are, I will look into it to make it noindex, but first i have to understand what are they.

    Thanks

    Kind regards

    Andres replied

    Hey Arlind,

I sorted it out by installing this plugin called Attachment Pages Redirect.

I suggest you include it as a inbuilt plugin with your theme.. it makes life so much easier.

    Thanks

    Andres replied

    Hi Arlind,

I have just noticed there is some kind of bug or error with the images maginifier when hover on the shop. As son as you mouse over an image (which makes it magnify it) it starts counting hundreds thousands of errors per pixel you move your mose over it. Check the image attached, and i encourage youto take a look at it on my website. Just go to a product and Inspect elemnt, then start moving your mouse over the image. You will see the error count on the console.

    Thanks

    Kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

The Attachment Page Redirect is good choice, however we couldn't integrate in theme files because it will increase theme size and it is optional for the theme, actually you was the only one that you installed (based on customers input).

As for the other issue, it seems to be our theme bug, so try this quickfix:

Download this file and replace it in this directory (of the theme): /assets/js

Then open style.css and set version number to 2.9.3.1 (just for changes to take effect on frontend).

    Andres replied

I have uploaded the file, and the error still persists

    Andres replied

    Hey,

Now is partially fixed, you gave me wrong folder that is why it did not work first time. Now that it is in the correct folder

    /themes/aurum/assets/js/min

instead of throwing error everytime you move your mouse over the image, it throws an error everytime you move your mouse out of the image, you can check it on my website now.

    Thanks

    kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

Sorry about that, I was editing the file in js/ folder and send you the raw js file path.

So here is another touch in that file which would fix the issue:

Download this file and replace it in this directory (of the theme): /assets/js/min

    Great to hear that.

If you like our theme, it would help us a lot if you could give us five star rating on themeforest from your Downloads tab, (if you don't know how, just open this link).

A huge thank you from Laborator in advance!

    Andres replied

    Hey arlind,

There is still one more error on the code of your theme. If you go to the main shop page www.oxynergy.com/shop , go to the console and you will see it throws an error on the code.

So i noticed that since the last update (i guess) the + button beside each product on the shop page, says that it adds a product to the cart, but when you go to your cart, the product isnt there.

    Thanks

    kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

It seems that your server is not allowing this URL to open:

    http://www.oxynergy.com/wp-content/themes/aurum/assets/images/check.png

So go to the file in FTP and apply 777 permissions, this should fix the issue.

  •  4
    Andres replied

    Hey!

    Thanks for your answer.

It is weird, its the second time that after an update of your theme there are some files with wrong permissions...

I did not put 777 but 644, i dont think its safe to put 777 permisions to files in my theme.

Anyway, that shorted out the problem of the console error, but not the one about not adding products to the cart when using the + button on the shop base page... it says it does, and the ajax cart at top does show 2 products, but when you go to the cart page, you will see, it did not add any.

    Thanks

    Kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

Yes it is weird, just to test for that file if it will generate that error anymore.

There is security module in your server (apache) that applies some rules, and in your case, has blocked this URL asset.

  •  4
    Andres replied

Im not sure i understood your answer.. the + button was working fine allways.. or it has nothing to do with the + button that thing of the apache server?

  • [deleted] replied

Yes that is true, but the CSS fails to load that image in that URL, so thats why it doesn't show. And for this reason, it is often problem of server security configuration that blocks several URLs.

You may contact your hosting provider, and send that link so they can give you proper answer about that.

    Andres replied

    Hey,

The guys at the server side are taking a look at it, and they said it COULD be a problem with the security of the server cause there is a lot too lax permissions on files. Your theme seems to have too many 777. I will put a review of the files on my next reply (private reply) so you can see.

In any case, i just noticed something that to mee, clearly tells me is not  a permisions problem, but a bug in the code. The + button JUST fails if you visit the cart. With this i mean that if you add 3 products with the + button before you go to the cart, it adds the all fine. But if you go to the cart with those 3 products, then you go back to products page and add one more, you will see 2 problems:

    1. The ajax counter at the top of the page is kind of bugged, as it shows no number, which means there is no products in the cart (we both know is not true).

    2. if you add another product using the + button it will refresh the amount of products in the cart showing 4, but when you actually visit the cart, you will see it will not have added the latest 4th product you added.

    Thanks

    Kind regards

    Hey arlind,

I figured out what the problem was, but i will need your help to sort it out.

Im using w3 total cache plugin, and since the last update of your theme, it is causing some trouble with the objects cache, so as soon as i disable it, it starts working fine again. Lets work this out together.

    Thanks

    kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

I saw that in your shop page you don't have the error that was showing in console and successful cart item added icon was showing.

I guess you have managed to fix this already!

  •  4
    Andres replied

    Hi Arlind,

Yes, the problem was with the w3tc and the caching of objects. As soon as I dissabled it , it worked fine.

    Thanks

    Hey Arlind!

Here I am with a new "problem".

Why does the carousel on the home page just show prices for logged in users?

PD: i cant rate the theme, as im not the owner of the purchase. With this I mean, this is not my website, is my clients website, I just manage it. I told him few times already and will keep trying to make them rate it.

    Thanks

    Kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

On my end the prices are showing even that I am not logged in, see this video demonstration:

    http://drops.laborator.co/1jlYn

As for the rating, its ok, I hope your client will give us a good rating.

    Andres replied

    Hi Arlind,

Thanks for the video. I can see them again back in my screen, so either my cache was playing dumb, or we have another of those random problems we had with this feature remember?

    Thanks

    Kind regards

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi Andres,

That seems to be related to the cache. Make sure you completely flush the cache clear all saved contents before so it shouldn't happen anymore.

    sure,

By the way, I'm having another issue, which for now im trying to sort it out with WPML but it seems to me it might be a problem with your teamplate, please take a look at this:

As allways you got credentials of my website, so if you need to test it your self feel free to do so.
