As I am facing some plugin issue: The product category page only show 12 products rather than all the 48 products so I had asked the plugin maker to reactify. They suggest to change the tag from 'div' to 'li' like default template of WC. I would like to check if this will affect the template design or anything?

I cannot say if it will change anything, but you can try it and see if that changes the theme layout.
