Portfolio "broken" after 1.9.1

After updating to 1.9.1, I can't access portfolio categories from the portfolio widget boxes on the home page anymore, and if you click the box itself, you get a 404 error. The only way to access the portfolio item is clicking on the portfolio item title, inside the box. I believe that to be a bug or something. The same thing happens inside the portfolio page: you can't access a category page if not by the main menu, but at least clicking the boxes works. Can you tell me why that's happening and how to fix it?

I also thought I'd be able to edit the portfolio page in the same way I can edit the other pages, make the background grey for an example, but I still can't. Portfolio page seems to be "off the grid" so I can't make changes to it. About a month ago I opened a ticket on Envato, where you guys told me 1.9 would fix it, but now it seems the update not only didn't fix it, but it created more bugs.

I already flush rewrote everything on the permalinks page. Please help. :)

    Hi Caio,

Please go to wp-content / themes / kalium / assets / js and replace joinable.min.js with this new one joinable.min.js

Your problem should be fixed :)

P.S: We will include this fix on the next version of Kalium too.

    Hello, Ylli.

Nice to hear from you! I've uploaded the new js file to the specified folder, but I still can't access the portfolio category page. You can check here if you'd like — try clicking any category inside any box, just below the title of each project. On previous version of Kalium, this page could be accessed by clicking the Anzeigen/Plakate category link inside any box, and now it seems it's not possible anymore.

Is that how it's supposed to work now? Because I really need those links to be functional. The URL appears on the browser status bar, and if I inspect the link, the URL is in the href, so it should work, but clicking seems to do nothing. Please let me know if that's only happening with me lol.

Thank you very much for the feedback though, but I hope you still can help me. I have some front-end knowledge, so if you feel like dropping some hot-fix, please do. Arlind gave me a very nice hard-fix for the search button on the standard menu. :)

    Thanks, Ylli.

    Hi Caio,

You are right, it is not working properly, meanwhile you can test here in our demo page:

    http://demo.kaliumtheme.com/main/portfolio/

    It works properly. So strange!

Is it possible for you to send me your FTP credentials in a private reply. I need to change few things in the code and find the issue.

    OK, thanks!

    Hi Caio,

I have managed to fix this issue so now portfolio filters work when you click under portfolio item title links.

    Can you please confirm it?

  • Caio replied

    Hey, Arlind,

Seems it works just fine now, though not how I expected. I thought the category page would be accessible when you click the link, but now the link filters portfolio items on-the-fly without going to the category page. I suppose now we don't need the category page anymore, so it's not bad at all. Actually is pretty nice. :P

Thanks, Arlind. Keep up the good work. :)
