    I don't know why my codes in custom CSS stopped working. It was working perfectly fine yesterday night.

    Did you use the !important on each rule?

    If it still does not work or apply try putting that css code in the Appearence-->Editor in the style sheet of your child thme OR your main theme  if you are not using a child theme.
