I'm working on my staging site with Kalium 4 and a lot of things are messy.
For example:
- I copied the Freemius secret key here and it says is not valid - Everything is slightly out of place and I have to rework every margin on every element on every page. - A lot of CSS editions are not working anymore. - I have missing icons like the X to close the menu or the arrow to go-back-to-top on mobile. - The mobile menu is not centered anymore. - Some footer widgets are gone - The links are always underlined and it doesn't matter what I do. - The portfolio elements are awful and everything completely out of place, with the portfolio title over the logo and no margins whatsoever.
And the list goes on…
I'm sorry, I'm a supper-happy Kalium customer, but I can't put 3 or 4 full days of work out of the blue because of this update. It's too much work.
What you’re describing seems quite unusual, as we’ve run extensive tests before releasing Kalium 4. From what you’ve explained, it sounds like the Database Upgrade from version 3 to 4 may not have been completed. This step is crucial to ensure the design elements and settings carry over correctly and give you the same look.
From what I can see the license has already been activated under your staging site, so I will need to see the site live. Please share your website login credentials so I can test this. To safely include your credentials click the Insert Credentials button in the editor toolbar (see how), or you can create a temporary login without a password (see how).
