Both we and our website visitors have had problems filling out the contact form (https://manimedia.de/kontakt/) several times in the last 2 months since installation and sucessful configaration of the kalium theme. The form can basically be filled out and sent, and it arrives. However, it is not user-friendly. Many people tell us that the individual text fields are not clickable or that it is not exactly clear which area can be filled out and which cannot. We would therefore ask you kindly to adapt the design or to help us optimize it. We can imagine that these optimizations could also be useful and helpful for all other kalium users. Specifically, we would like to extend the accent color of the theme (blue in the example) to the fillable areas, see marking in red in the screenshot.
We are aware of unaccessible forms and other parts of the theme but we have already fixed this in the upcoming update (Kalium 4) which will be released later so for now you can add this CSS to Custom CSS:
Thanks Art – I added the code to the custom css, it looks already better now.
Are you aware of the problem that currently only the lines marked green in the screenshot are clickable and executable? It would be ideal if the line marked in red directly after "Nachricht" (Message) could also be filled in. Most people intuitively click directly behind it (as well as in the lines above it).
Could you please consider and improve this in your future update?
We are aware of that but unfortunately we have removed the lines completely as it is not possible to achieve that so here you can view how the new version looks like in the lined version:
We are hoping it will be available by the end of March, there are still some demos and features which we should work on and also lots of video tutorials and documentation as it will be a completely new user interface in the back-end.

Is there a temporary solution for the moment?
When will the update be rolled out?

Hi there,
We are aware of that but unfortunately we have removed the lines completely as it is not possible to achieve that so here you can view how the new version looks like in the lined version:
https://demo-elementor.kaliumtheme.com/photography/contact/
Or you can use the classic form layout:
https://demo-elementor.kaliumtheme.com/bookstore/contact/
As I mentioned these will available in Kalium 4.
Best regards,
Laborator Team
Thanks Art, both versions look much more user friendly than the current version.
So my last question is: when will the update (Kalium 4) be available?
Hi there,
We are hoping it will be available by the end of March, there are still some demos and features which we should work on and also lots of video tutorials and documentation as it will be a completely new user interface in the back-end.
Best regards,
