    Hello,

I bought Kalium theme 5 years ago for my personal website. I’m a photographer and I really liked the design and the ergonomics of Kalium.

I would like to change the concept of my website after 5 years. I just want something very very simple. I saw the portfolio example on the Kalium website. It’s exactly this concept.
One homepage with all my pictures and nothing more.

All my pictures have a category word in this page and visitors can clic on the category to filter the pictures. (Architecture, personnal works...etc) The problem is I tried many times to understand how this could work but I don’t see how to manage it.

Each picture is a portfolio? When people clic on a category, are they able to have a lightbox with all the picures of this category?

    Here is an example: https://demo.kaliumtheme.com/photography/#

Thank you if you can help me to understand the way to create this kind of website.

    Hi Arrakis10,

If you are talking about the Photography demo, we have used the Lightbox portfolio item (read more), for each of image. But you can also use the Multiple Images and/or Video Gallery option and other options that are offered for this portfolio type.

    See video: https://d.pr/v/JNOcKY

    Thanks!

Hi, Thank you for your answer. Actually its not that.

Maybe the photography demo is not the right example because it contains portfolio

I dont want to have any portfolios but only all my pictures on my homepage. All my pictures are tagged with a category. (Architecture, portraits..etc) When a visitor clic on a category the photos with the keyword group together and the others disappear. and when the visitor clic on the picture it opens a lightbox with only the pictures with the keyword selected.

    I don't know if I'm clear in what I'm saying :)

That is exactly how our Portfolio works. You can see that in the Photography demo there are categories filters too so when users click one of them, projects (photos) from other categories disappear (see video).

There are no other methods to do what you are describing.

    Thanks for your understanding.
