My portfolio thumbnails don't seem to match in size. I set the "Portfolio Settings" in "Theme Options" to have titles inside and not masonry. However, there still seems to be a difference in thumbnail size. I know it seems to only be the first item that is a different size, but I have regenerated thumbnails and it did not seem to fix it.
The reason why the first portfolio item is showing smaller is because the uploaded image is too small, the image height which shows in the porfolio grid is 298px and images need to be at least twice that size to show in high quality (596px) and in your case the image height is only 481px. To verify this just upload a bigger image in height and you will see that the issue will be fixed.
