everything was working before, and it stopped working. I can enable the font that I want, Atkinson, but it appears as Times New Roman. Helvetica is not Google Fonts. All Google Fonts are now appearing as Times New Roman. It used to work and it stopped working.

I can see that you have tested multiple fonts, and just the Helvetica font is enabled, I tested it and it is working as it should.

It seems that you just needed to flush those fonts to get the latest updates of that font from Google Fonts saved on your server.
