I have a general question, as I never got to understand the parallax possibility and therefore never used yet, but would like to.
If I try to build a parallax I will asked to enter speed, "Enter parallax speed ratio"but doing so, the image will be increased and the speed keeps the same.
Somehow I am not able to understand the way to do it correctly and could not find any tutorial on it?
Unfortunately I do not have any example, as it did not work :-)
I just checked the Parallax option under WPBakery Page Builder and from what I can see you are right as it doesn't seem to work properly. Once you add a parallax speed the image size will be enlarged while the speed remains the same.
The reason why you could not find any help article in our documentation is because this is an inherited feature from WPBakery Page Builder and not theme option so there is not much we can do about it except to report it to WPBakery PB team. Below I have included a video tutorial which explains how to use the parallax effect:
Oh this is bad news, as that happens since I know Kalium.
Could it be that the animation is gone since the last update as well, that it is part of bakery Page Builder?
I wonder, why WPBakery Page Builder is coming with the theme, if there are so deep problems involved? So what does that means for the next webpage with Kalium? using Elementor?
WPBakery Page Builder is already not being updated with big updates anymore, we are gradually moving to the other page builders such as Elementor where we will build the same demos in it, and also moving to the default WordPress page builder (Gutenberg). By the end of the year we are releasing some very big updates in the theme and we really hope we can make it to add full Elementor support (demos created in Elementor).
The support for WPBakery Page Builder will remain as we cannot remove the support for it as all of our existing customers still use WPBakery PB, that means pages won't conflict and break but for the upcoming projects our customers will be able to build the theme with Elementor, Gutenberg or even WPBakery.

Hi Art,
what does that mean to webpages, with a current Kalium theme, built with WP Bakery?
Best regards
