You have some ways to apply portfolios on a page, through the Portfolio Items element of WPBakery Page Builder and from the Parameters and Options area.
We suggest you use the Portfolio Items element because it has more options and it is more intuitive.
Hi,
I have installed the demo site Main. I have created portfolio Items but my portfolio page don't add them.
I follow instructions to specify manually portfolio items I want to display (to desactivate items in the demo site and add mine) but nothing change.
To use the demo page named "Portfolio" I can't add new portfolio items?
See the attachments below.
Best regards,
Jessica
Hi Jessica,
It seems that you forgot to add the correct WordPress credentials and I need t to enter your website to check what is the problem.
To safely include your credentials click the Insert Credentials button in the editor toolbar (see how)
Thank you!
Hi Ylli,
Sorry, I desactivated your account but now you can use it (from the ticket #3127884).
Thank you,
Kind regards,
Jessica
Hi Jessica,
To show your portfolio items on any page is very easy, you just need to use the Portfolio Items element.
See video: https://d.pr/v/OPRa83
Thanks!
P.S: It seems that you already did that, right?
Hi Ylli,
Yes I understand how to add portfolio Items but I want to use the custom query to select portfolio items to show on my main page.
See the following attachement : I have selected only 5 portfolio items but when I go to my portfolio page I have all portfolio items.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jessica
Hi Jessica,
This page https://jessicaledivenah.com/portfolio/ is reserved by the Portfolio Post Type plugin to show all the portfolio entries.
You can make a different page and there you can add only the projects or project categories that you want.
See example: https://d.pr/v/In9aZQ
Than you can also add that page on your Menu.
Thanks!
Hi Ylli,
Ok I do this way but I don't understand the purpuse of the custom Query option as it is described below:
https://documentation.laborator.co/kb/kalium/show-custom-portfolio-items-custom-query/
Thank you for your help.
Jessica
