I initially registered the theme for my client to a staging site and now we are live. I've tried to delete the registration from the staging site several times so I could reregister it, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I deleted your old license, so now you can activate your product in its final domain.
Note: If you still see the old domain on your Product Registration page (screenshot) please press x button, then you activate your theme again.
