    Hello Ylli!

I hope all is well with you. I have been sidetracked with unexpected contract work, a good thing but have had limited time to work on this project.

Anyway, I have managed to read through the help info and have gained sufficient knowledge of how to utilize portfolio categories and items. Excellent design you guys have come up with. All of the item types look great!

My question...is there a way to be able to create a link for each individual item to its woo commerce listing? My goal is to be able to show the work in a beautiful portfolio format, but have a way to link each photo/item to it's woo store listing.

I understand that all lightbox porfolio items simply have no method to do so. I am somewhat surprised as to this fact as it would be a great feature.

I really like the full page option in Kalium as it is a sharp way to present photos, etc...and there is a "Link URL" option as well. However, this link is singular for the entire portfolio and does not allow individual links for each item?

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Ron

    Hi Ron,

Thank you for your kind words. We are very happy that you like our theme.

As for your question, it seems very interesting and it would be great to have this functionality implemented on it.

I have one question before making sure where exactly do you need to place the links:

    medium

The blue marked rectangle is the place where you can add the link of the product and no custom work is needed.

The red rectangle is the image, do you mean to add the link for the product to the image? If so, will each image have its own link or the entire gallery will have a single product link to purchase the item?

Another idea is to add an icon to the toolbar strip that redirects to the product page:

    medium

These two options require custom work but I can help you to integrate that.

Hello Arlind and thank you for the fast reply!

I would really like each image in the gallery to link directly to its own designated woo commerce product page/description/cost page. I like the idea of having an icon linked to the toolbar. Can I create my own "Purchase Now" icon?

Also, I don't mind putting the link in either red or blue rectangle assuming I can make it clear via text (Buy Now) or icon that a click will take them to that specific product (in the event they really like it and want to purchase) in the store. If the link is the actual entire area of the rectangles, then definitely the icon in tool bar is the way to go.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I am attempting to follow up on this ticket in order to proceed with incorporating links from the Kalium portfolio items directly to the WooCommerce store item for each of the products I wish to sell.

If I do not receive a response, I will submit a new ticket and hopefully get a reply.

    Hi Ron King,

I sincerely apologize for the delay of response, because I am quite busy developing and other team members could not help with this.

Today I logged in to your admin dashboard and tried to apply a code snippet to add the icon in toolbar butI am getting this message:

    medium

I tried to update theme plugins first, to ensure full compatibility but the process didn't finished and it is stuck and shows this message. Luckily this can be fixed easy:

To take your site out of maintenance mode and get rid of the “Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute” message, all you need to do is delete that .maintenance file.

I am really sorry for causing this but it was not my intention, just wanted to make sure everything is up to date.

P.S. It is fixed now, I don't know if you have done that.

I will try the code now.

    Hi Ron,

I have added this code snippet:

    https://d.pr/n/KuFdT5

And created custom fields for portfolio (lightbox type):

    medium

So when you add the link for the lightbox item:

    medium

    It is shown here:

    medium

For more styling you can change the code.

    Thank you, Arlind.

No problem on the somewhat late delay. I have also been very busy with a contract that has me working from 5a-7p and will last another week before concluding...plus we are all living in very odd times.

I took a few moments to look at the code and video and must say it looks exactly like what I was hoping to achieve. It seems adding the slug for the product(s) is the only thing necessary to get the site up and running.

I will of course contact you guys if I have any further questions (which is likely), but think this should be enough to make significant advancement.

    Thanks again.
