    Hello,

I have noticed that the plugin "Warp iMagick - Image Compressor" has "been closed as of January 25, 2022 and is not available for download. This closure is permanent. Reason: Guideline Violation."

Before changing themes and servers, I have been using Meow Perfect Images Pro, a very good plugin for image compression, etc.

It is important for me to have a good plugin for speed and image quality and am wondering if I should disable Warp Image Compression (as a dormant plugin may introduce issues in the near future) and stay with Meow as it updated and maintained regularly. Also, Meow connect directly to my CDN as they have a partnership.

Just wanted to get your opinion before proceeding.

    Thank You.

    Hi Ron,

I suggest you disable and remove the plugin that is not in the WordPress directory anymore. It has violated the guidelines of WordPress and you should delete it.

As for the Perfect Images plugin, you can use it if you want or you can use this plugin WebP Converter for Media – Convert WebP and AVIF & Optimize Images. It is gaining popularity, we have tested it, and works as it should.

    Have a nice day!
