1. is there any chance to add a button for the caption when I'm using the lightbox? I can use the "Enable captions" in the Lightbox settings. That's OK but is there any chance to add a button to give a web site user the chance to enable the caption and/or to deactivate the caption?
2. Using the Lightbox means that I have the chance to Enable lightbox thumbnails. So I will see them as a stripe. Is there any chance to have another layout for the thumbnails? Also it would be really helpful to have a hover effect for the thumbnails to get the caption of the thumbnail/associated picture.
For which page are you talking about, I have checked the Gallery page and from what I could see you are using a 3rd party gallery (lightbox) which is Foogallery and for the options of that lightbox please ask the plugin support directly.
1. Unfortunately there is an option to toggle the visibility of captions, you can either set it to On or Off through theme options, but the option to show this feature to users is not available.
2. We are using the lightGallery library for the gallery and such options for the thumbnails are not available.
