Paypal Checkout Errors

    Hello,

I would kindly ask for your support on the below issue:

As you may already know, Paypal Checkout is being replaced by Paypal Payments, Paypal Checkout is already out of support since 1/3/22.

I am taking all the actions to replace it on my DEV environment https://homisport.com/_homisportdev but i still get some issues that i do not understand how to fix and have not been fixed after the latest updates of Paypal Payments plugin. So i wonder if this is something related to your code and how you manage orders via Woocommerce in general.

    Issues:

    1. On "Single Product" page, after i click on Paypal Checkout button i get error:
Something went wrong. Please try again or choose another payment source.

    2. On "View Cart" page, after i click on Paypal Checkout button i get the same error:
Something went wrong. Please try again or choose another payment source.

    3. On "Checkout" page, after i click on Paypal Checkout button i get error:
INVALID_STRING_LENGTH The value of a field is either too short or too long.
INVALID_PARAMETER_SYNTAX The value of a field does not conform to the expected format.

    Please advise.

    Hi Andreas,

Sorry for the late reply. Art is out of the office today and I will reply to your ticket.

We activated a default WordPress theme and it seems that the same issue is happening again.

    See video: https://d.pr/v/BowrEP

Please check if you configured the plugin as it should and then also contact the plugin support because I can see that this problem is very common (read here).

    Thanks!

P.S: While reading their replies I saw that often, third party plugins can cause the problem so to debug that you can disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don't come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.

If not, then surely you need to contact WooCommerce PayPal Payments support.
