    Dear Support,

I would like to translate few words from English into Hungarian on the Hungarian version of the website.

I am attaching the pics of those words: "Category"

    Hi Annamaria,

To translate theme stings please follow this guide from our documentation: Translating Kalium with Loco Translate .

Kalium is also pre-translated to 18 languages, but unfortunately, Hungarian is not included for the moment. Maybe you can send them to us when you finish your translation so we can offer them for other Hungarian users.

    Thanks!

    Dear Ylli,

thank you for the quick reply.

I am using Loco translate and I have already translated it into Hungarian earlier, but something happened and the English words came back :-) and now I can not translate the words at all, because I can not find them anymore.

    Could you please help?

    Thank you,
    Annamaria

    Hi Annamaria,

It seems that you have saved your Loco Translation translation files in a folder that WordPress Updates change when an update is made (more info)

Here is a nice article for you to read too: Disappearing files.

    Thanks!

    Dear Ylli,

    thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, I don't know what you mean. I always use the plugin in the same way and don't remember this happened to me ever.

Thank you for the article but it doesn't help me.

Have you a suggestion how to solve the problem?

Thank you for your reply in advance.

    Best regards,
    Annamaria

    Hi Annamaria,

You should save translations in the System folder (see video), so they will be saved and won't change when you update WordPress or Kalium.

    Thanks!
