I am having trouble to understand the new footer widgets using blocks. In theme options I´ve tried to set up 3 widgets per row for the footer. How do I address these columns separately in the design/widgets area of wordpress? There is only one footer area available. If I add text-blocks they will fill the first column then swap over to the next. Adding a columns-block in the widget area does not do the trick either. Sorry, not familiar with the newest Wordpress updates ;-)
Can you please share your site credentials here, because we need to login to your site and see this issue live. Your information is safe (private) in this thread.
To include your credentials click Insert Credentials button in the editor toolbar. (See how)
I have installed Classic Widgets plugin so you still have the classic widgets in your site until we release a theme update which is fully compatible with the new WordPress widgets as right now it is a little bit messy, until a further notice by our side feel free to use the Classic Widgets plugin.
I've read about that work-around but was unaware that the theme actually is not fully compatible. I was able to achieve my goal thanks to your kind help!
