The placeholder image is a theme designed feature that cannot be changed, you can change the content but not the style of it, or you can remove it completely. Can you let us know what you want to achieve and maybe using CSS we can help you.

1. In the Home page main slider we are using our brand logo on the centre of the slider therefore we want to remove the logo from the header.
2. When a customer starts to scroll, we want sticky header to show the logo on the header and want to add a white background to the header.

That's because you have set the padding and margin to 0 and that should be removed so the blocks are always aligned on desktop and mobile.
