I checked your website and I can confirm there is text showing next to the arrows which is strange, I can give you some CSS code to fix that but I would prefer logging into your site to see where the problem is coming from as this does not happen in our default theme demo.

Please send me your WordPress credentials, because I need to login to your site and test this. To include your credentials click the Insert Credentials button in the editor toolbar (see how) so your reply will be private.

Regarding the images on the homepage, could you please take a screenshot of the problem so we can see what the issue is? I have checked your site homepage and all images seem to be loading properly.

I have checked your site and what I could see was you have a lot of plugins installed which is not recommended at all, please try using only the necessary plugins which you can't run the site such as WooCommerce, LayerSlider or any of your page builder such as WPBakery Page Builder, besides that you had 3 other page editors installed which is really bad for your site performance and can cause issues such as this one because scripts can conflict with each other.

I started disabling plugins one-by one to troubleshoot and see where the problem is coming from, it seems that this plugin:

Smart Variation Swatches for WooCommerce PRO

Is causing the problem with the arrows.

Now while trying to enable the plugins again I got an error in Dutch so I could not complete the plugin re-activation:

Happy to hear that you managed to fix the website error, regarding your question of necessary plugins of Aurum, these plugins below are a must for the theme to work properly:

• Advanced Custom Fields PRO (for page management)
• WPBakery Page Builder (for building pages with a page builder)
• WooCommerce (for shop functionality)

Also there are plugins such as LayerSlider which we use in our demos for the slider but if you don't use any slider you can keep it deactivated.
