I have some items that are currently out of stock. They get a nice round "sticker" with "out of stock" in the shop. I would like to create something similar for products that are "Coming soon", or pre-orders.
How would i go about that? The stock of those products is currently 0. I could set those to "allow backorder" on the inventory settings. Could we add a custom "bubble" linked to that "allow backorder" status?
I can ask my developer for further help if you point me on the way of how we can achieve that.
Yes, I'm using a plugin called Coming Soon for Woocommerce, but it's not working at the moment. I'm guessing there's a styling override from the theme? It doesn't display on the front end, for the products i've activated it on , like this one : https://botanopia.com/shop/our-plant-supports/set-of-4-mini-plant-stakes/
Please contact the plugin provider for this, they can check the problem and also improve compatibility with Kalium theme.
P.S: I can see that you are using too many plugins, please consider disabling or deleting the plugins that you don't use because each of them makes your website slower and also can bring problems.
Thanks, but this is a free plugin and there is no support associated.
I wish i could use less plugins on my website, but all the ones installed are necessary for my business at the moment. It would be great if I didn't have to install extra plugins for tiny functions like this coming soon badge, but i don't see any other way...
WooCommerce doesn't offer other badges besides "Out of Stock", "Sale" and "Featured". Those are more than enough for most users I think, but if you need more types then you need to use third-party plugins.
Theme support doesn't give assistance for third-party plugins. I would suggest checking another plugin if they work for you.
Thank you. I don't use the "Featured" badge for anything. Could i then set my 'coming soon' products as a featured product and modify the text on the Featured Badge to be Coming Soon instead? Seems like an easy fix? Then i also don't need an extra plugin.
If a product is both featured AND out of stock, which badge will show? I've now activated the featured badge in the laborator options, and set up 4 of the products to be featured products, but the badge showing is the out of stock badge.

Hi liselefebvre,
WooCommerce doesn't offer Comin Soon badges by default. Maybe you are using a third-party plugin to achieve that?

Yes, you can rename/translate that string of WooCommerce easily with the help of the Loco Translate plugin.
Thanks!
That's great, i'll do that.

Hi liselefebvre,
Great.
— I don't know how the WooCommerce logic is in this case. You can contact WooCommerce support for this.
Thanks!
