    Hallo Kalium team,

I have a multi language page and would like to create a portfolio items in each language (that I can do).

What would be the smartest way to filter future EN portfolio items for an EN portfolio page? And DE portfolio items in a DE portfolio?

What do I need to "tag" in order to distinguish and build the correct query?

    Best regards

    Wolf

    Hi Wolf,

I am not sure if I understood your question correctly, but if you want to translate the portfolio and portfolio items you can do that using a translation plugin. We recommend using WPML, it is the most powerful plugin for translating WordPress, themes and plugins and its really easy to manage.

In this article you will find more information on how to translate the portfolio page and portfolio items, if you have further questions feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
    Laborator Team

    Dear Art,

actually, we are already using "Polylang" on our Website. Although it says on your documentation, Kalium is prepared for Polylang, I can't find the language selector from Polylang, that I can see on other post types, on the portfolio page.

Could you please let me know whether Polylang works with Kalium Portfolio and how to find the language selector?

    Regards
    Michaela

    Hi Michaela,

The language switcher of Polylang can be added in various methods as explained here:

    https://polylang.wordpress.com/documentation/frequently-asked-questions/the-language-switcher/

I tried logging into your site but the old credentials don't seem to be working, could you please post them again so we can login and see the problem with the language switcher.

    Best regards,
    Laborator Team
