Hello, when using post excerpt in a wpbakery grid layout I get “This is a custom heading element” instead of the real excerpt. The phrase I got as the excerpt is actually the definition of a custom heading element showing the title of the post in the layout (see attached image).

I searched for this problem for more than 1 hour but I can't find where this is coming from. It must be a bug on the WPBakery Page Builder or maybe there is any problem in the Grid Builder template (see video).
Unfortunately, I don't know how to help you and I would suggest you contact WPBakery Page Builder support directly so they can check what is the problem in this very interesting situation.
It may be about WP Bakery but it was working at first, and I did not see any updates that may had broken it.Anyway thanks for having tried; what should I get from the video? I just saw you disabled some plugins
EDIT: I also have problems with posts now: I get a 404 everytime I click "add new" (not a permalink issue, I tried, the link of "Add new post" is somehow just post-new.php instead of post-new.php?post_type=post
1— I just wanted to point you out the area where I think that problem was coming.
2— I tried to log in on your site to check that but it seems that you have changed your WordPress credentials. If you still have this problem then please send me the correct WP credentials so I can check this problem.
P.S: Please disable all your third-party plugins (plugins that don't come with our theme) one by one, and check if this problem is solved.
Hello, yesterday was quite a disappointment: other than the unresolved post excerpt problem, after the invervention I have a bigger, worse one. Did you just disable the plugins? I didn't change anything but I re-enabled them. No other changes were made and I checked every plugin to find if some authomatic updates happened but none did. But the add new post link was not working.
I tried disabling every plugin, everything, also the theme (using the default wordpress) but the issue with the add new post is still bugging me. I tried updating (and changing) permalinks, switching back to English, reinstalling Wordpress...I'm now contacting my host wordpress support to understand what may have happened. EDIT: done, there's nothing wrong on their side
I will try to help you on every way possible but I don't see that this problem was caused by the theme and I have difficulties what is the problem so I can try to fix that.
Do you save your WordPress site with any backup plugin? Do you have backups of your site before this problem was happening to you?
