Have you considered adding it as a portfolio item, the scripts used in portfolio items are very smooth and run great. The one you're currently using in the gallery page is from WPBakery Page Builder and they're really old-fashioned and many users regularly report problems with the carousel.

Or you can use Slider Revolution for the carousel instead of using the one from WPBakery.
