I m trying to install Fashion demo but its not possible due to an error
Error (import process could not continue)
Critical errors have been identified in your server, therefore the import process cannot continue because of the following reasons:
Theme API server is not accessible from your site.
403 - Forbidden
Here is my server's enviroment:
Apache/2.4.6PHP version:7.4.15PHP post max size:64 MBPHP time limit:120PHP max input vars:1000Max upload size:64 MBMySQL version:5.5.5-10.4.17-MariaDBcURL version:7.29.0, NSS/3.53.1DOMDocument:WP remote post:Laborator API server is not accessible at this url https://api.laborator.coWP remote getGD library:2.3.0
It happens that sometimes theme activation is not possible, this is caused either by cURL Firewall or Envato API outage and doesn’t allow our server to retrieve your information from Envato.
Te determine if the firewall is the problem go to Laborator > System Status and check if WP Remote Get or WP Remote Post is showing “Laborator API server is not accessible at this url: https://api.laborator.co“ error, in this case, you should contact your host and ask them to allow access to our API Server: https://api.laborator.co
You will have to ask your hosting company to enable the WP Remote Get or WP Remote Post and to allow access to https://api.laborator.co so the theme can be registered to your domain, registering the theme will grant you full access to the theme so you can automatically update the theme and theme bundled plugins.
The alternative way is to manually import the demo content but that is not a solution, you would have to update the theme manually each time and updates won't show in WordPress admin dashboard.
Contacting the hosting company is the best idea, we have similar tickets with problems that are server related and most of the users when they contact their hosting company the issue get fixed.
Can you please share your site credentials here, because we need to login to your site and see this issue live. Your information is safe (private) in this thread.
To include your credentials click Insert Credentials button in the editor toolbar. (See how)
We are really sorry for these kind of issues you're having but as I said before, this does not have to do with the theme but with the bad hosting environments, it also is mentioned on the popup when you want to install a demo content (link to the fix):
As you can see the WP Remote Post has a X, if our site is not accessible from your server then it will not allow to register the theme, demo contents and theme updates. This is not a theme issue and all the users who have reported this problem have fixed it by contacting the hosting provider so they had to change the WP Remote Post and Remote Get to allow the theme to be installed properly.
This is not something that does have to do only with Kalium, on every premium theme that hosts the theme updates and demos online you will have these kind of issues.
And to sum this up, it means the server is not yet whitelisted, so please let them know again to get this problem fixed.
I am sorry to bother you again, but I haven't got a solution yet.
My hosting provider says that its your side which blocking access to your api from my server.
I quote:
"It appears that the remote side of communication is blocking the connection from your server with us: [root@athena1 /]# curl -I api.laborator.co curl: (7) Failed connect to api.laborator.co:80; Connection timed out
The other one appears to be able to connect: [root@athena1 /]# curl -I updates.wpbakery.com HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: nginx/1.11.13 Date: Tue, 02 Mar 2021 08:04:36 GMT Content-Type: text/plain Content-Length: 3 Connection: keep-alive Last-Modified: Fri, 19 Feb 2021 13:52:10 GMT ETag: "10851bea5d822eacda7e5b46812b1b33" x-cache: HIT Mon, 01 Mar 2021 13:57:04 GMT
Could you please go to Laborator > System Status and check the server connection with our API to see if it has a green light, if yes you can try importing the demo content.
To make sure your site won't be blocked we have added this to our server FireWall:

Hello,
Thanks for your response.
I must say that i dont have the option to enable access to your api. I am on a VPS and i dont know how to do it.
I seems that i can't update laborator's plugins also.
Is there an alternative method to use?
If not i would have to ask for a refund.
Thanks anyway for your time.

Hello again,
From my end, there is no firewall block to your api.
Can you please check your firewall in case it blocks my servers ip which is
207.180.199.128
Thanks
