First time using Kalium/Typography/Typolabs....have to say, it's not very intuitive.
A couple questions...
-- Is there no way in the application, to change things like line spacing (before or after), and/or font spacing or kerning? These things are often the most basic features in many other Typography sections of WP themes (at least from my experience).
-- The big issue I can't seem to figure out, is I currently have three font families loaded onto my site (came pre-loaded when I downloaded the theme). However I can't figure out where to change the actual font on the site....I don't see which font is actually being used. All of the three font families have various font types/styles loaded for each. However I don't know which one the site is pulling from. Also, I don't know where to even change or control this detail....which is I would think the most important detail.
I can change font sizes....but that's about it.
I've watched a few of videos, which explain the fairly easy aspects of the application. But I literally don't know how to change the font on the site....and after an hour of searching, I can't figure it out.
Some help asap would be great.
And some friendly feedback/advice....developers are awesome to build things, but not great with UX. Please have a designer look into the user experience of this application. It clearly has huge potential....but painful to use....so far, anyway.
1. Since the typography section has been introduced we have not updated it and we already have these things you mentioned in our to-do list for our next big update, so currently it is not possible to change the line height and letter spacing from there but we will surely implement it in the upcoming update which we are planning to launch by the end of the year as it is a must.
2. This means you have three installed fonts but you will have to enter the font details to see which of them is being implemented, because you can use two or more fonts and apply one of them only for paragraphs for example and the other one just for headings.
I have attached a screenshot from a font where it is being applied on the whole site paragraphs:
And for example if you don't want to apply this font for the whole site and paragraphs you can click on the right cross "X" to delete it.
As mentioned previously in my reply, since it's launch the typgoraphy has not been updated with any big feature and we will have to re-design to add new features and make it more user friendly.
