Hi! I am using a „picture carousel“ from the WPBakery builder to show pictures within a „Tour“ on a page. Each section of the tour needs to show several pictures and text. Carousel is set to show pics in „full“ size. Working on a Mac with OS11 Safari shows everything correct. In the code width is set to 100% and height to Auto.
BUT Chrome and Firefox will not show the carousel correctly. Only a small portion of the pics are visible, though the slider works. How comes these browsers ignore the Auto-height? What can I do to make it work?
Also this problem applies to a Youtube video when I embed this via „unfiltered html“ and define width=100%. Only a small part of the content is shown. Even using the default dimensions (560x315px) the video does not get smaller in a responsive way, it simply gets cut off on the right side.
Thanks for asking! I'm half way where I want to be …
Turning off the Lightbox feature (PrettyPhoto) helped the pictures within the carousel showing in full size instead of getting sliced and crippled.
Though my customer detected another problem: The slider functionality of the carousel seems not to work in Firefox on her PC. I´m working on a Mac and have no problems in Safari, Chrome & Firefox so I don't know where to look at. I know this is the Kalium-forum and this may be more a WPBakery problem as they bundle this element with their page builder, but I hope someone may have encountered this problem before and has a solution!?!
Regarding the problem with carousel, can you just do a little test and switch the theme from Kalium to default WordPress theme and see if the problem persists. Our team is all on iOS so currently we're unable to test it live, or at least if you can take a screenshot or recording from the problem since this is not a known issue for us.
unfortunately I can't. I only have received the notice that it does not work in Firefox on PC. I have tried to connect to a remote PC I have access to but can't replicate the problem. On my remote PC with Firefox everything seems fine. I habe to check back with my customer wether she can make a screencast.
That would be better so we can see what the issue is and if we can fix it, I have also tried to see it on a Windows laptop we have here in the office for debugs but it won't start.

Got it! By default the „carousel“ gets the option to open the pics using „PrettyPhoto“ on click. Turning this off gets me rid of the problem.
Hi Till,
Have you managed to get the issue fixed or you still need help, I see you have already found out where the problem is coming from.
Best regards,
