I've uploaded Roboto Slab which is a variable Google font as "Uploaded Font" in Theme Options (.woff and .woff2). Although I've set "300" as the only weight to use, the font is solely displayed in "400". Are there any specific settings to consider regarding the use of variable fonts with Kalium? You can see my settings in the attached screenshot.
Since Roboto Slab is on Google Fonts I don't see any reason uploading it manually, from Google Fonts you can choose between the font weights you want to use in your site.
I understand this would be the easiest way but due to the GDPR I don't want to load Google fonts from the Google Server. That's why I need to host Roboto Slab on the website's server... Is there another way to handle this problem?

Hi Gesine,
You can download Roboto Slab from this website:
https://google-webfonts-helper.herokuapp.com/fonts/roboto-slab?subsets=latin
Then in Typography add a new Uploaded Font, and upload the files generated by the website.
Hi Arlind,
perfect! Thanks for this hint - now it works!
Kind regards,
