But we didn't use SSL. The site is running without SSL at Port 80 (for the moment).
No problems changing the URL to https without change the IIS configuration? The wrong website call (you mean calling by https://www.... in the browser?) is only done by Chromium/new Edge.
Because of your tipp i try it with IE11 and call with http://www... and all icons are working right!
If you are not using HTTPS then make sure in the site settings the site url is not set as HTTPS, that is what I was trying to explain in my last reply, if you can't get it to work then please share your site credentials here, because we need to login to your site and see this issue live. Your information is safe (private) in this thread.
To include your credentials click Insert Credentials button in editor toolbar. (See how)
Can you please provide the FTP credentials so I can login and get back the site online, while changing the site URL the server logged me out of it and cannot get in anymore.
Happy to hear that you have managed to fix the issue, and thank you very much for sharing the fix with us so if anyone else has the same problem we will know what the issue is.
social network icons are not displayed in footer or in sites! Any idea, why this could happen?
Hi bofex,
That is not a theme problem, that is happening because you are calling your site in HTTPS format but you are still using HTTP to enter your site.
Please make sure that you have added HTTPS in the Wordpress Settings > General area.

Hello!
Because of the icons working in IE11 I found the issue and the solution!
The Kalium theme use *.woff (web open font format) for the social icons and something like that!
IIS has not assignt a MIME.type for .woff
After adding .woff -> font/woff all icons are dispayed as expectet!
