    Hi,

I am building my portfolio site for photography with Kalium. I am having a vary hard time.

I selected KALIUM mainly because I liked the way images are simply displayed in the DEMO : https://demo.kaliumtheme.com/photography/#. Quick for the viewer to jump from one image CATEGORY to another one. And easy for him to have an overall overview of the portfolio (by cliking on All).

My issue is that I do not understand how to achieve this.

This is what is done so far :

    1) I have imported all my images in MEDIA section

    2) and i have created a list of portfolio categories

    Here are my queries :

Can you please show me the process to follow from there ?

Do I need to add the images one my one (portfolio / add new item) or is it possible to do it by group of images ?

New item : what are the options to select to make make images appear like in the Kalium photography demo ?

How do we link each image to a category ?

    Many thanks for your help!

    Kind regards,

    Laetitia

    Hi Laetitia,

Happy to hear these kind words from you, regarding your questions I will try to be clear so you can achieve the same result as in the demo.

The best would be to import the demo content completely so you would have the same demo installed in your site, and then simply replace the images and modify the titles.

If you want to start from the beginning then go to Portfolio > Add New and follow this guide to create a lightbox portfolio type, for each image you will have to create a portfolio item like this.

To assign this item to a category on the right side you have the Categories box where you can select that.

    Best regards,
    Laborator Team
