    Hi,

I have a problem with translation of portfolio with wpml:

I translated all single portfolio of my website but the pages are empty...

Also how I can translate the details of single portfolio (detail, checklist...)??

    Hi PVDC,

I have just saved the post that was showing blank content and it was fixed:

    https://www.pvdc.it/dessienew/en/industrial-bookshelf/

So, in your case you should edit posts that show blank page in order to save its custom fields.

Regarding this, you can read more here:

    https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/

    Hi,

no, the problem has not been resolved

I have selected "copy" in all the custom field (screenshot) with wpml, but the only thing that is copied is the main text.
Details like links, checkboxes, galleries still don't work in translation. Also, there are also problems with the categories of the portfolio

    Hi  PVDC,

When you create a translation of portfolio item, it is created as a "new portfolio item" and the first thing that is required is to copy all the content from original language:

    medium

After this, you may continue with with translation and make your changes. This is how WPML works and it is their plugin that handles the data migration from one language to another.

    Ok, thanks!!!

One last thing: where do I find the translations of the portfolio/news title?

    Hi PVDC,

Sorry for the delay of answer.

To translate portfolio/news title you must have String Translation plugin by WPML, then go to WPML > String Translation:

    medium

Then select strings within domain "admin_texts_theme_mods_kalium" and all translatable strings will appear there.
