    Hi again,

Can you please think of adding some features for the bookstore, like Author, translator, year published, ISBN, number of pages and such stuff, to be added as fields, so one can decide where to put them (optionally). Currently all those things can go either in body text in description, or as attributes. It could be also nice that all those fields can also be attributes. Another plea for the future - can you please add possibility to add double fields for same attribute - namely author. In some languages correct order in text is name/surname, but in search one needs surname/name. Currently work around is to create another (hidden from publishing) entry in  attribute author, but with order surname/name, but that means double work and possibility of error.

    Hi Dalibor,

I didn't understand your question, these fields are already added as fields under Attributes.

    Best regards,

    Hi Art,

I know that atributes are already there,  but atributes are displayed only here (pic 1), look how it is done on our old webpage (drupal) - pic2 > all yellow fields are atributes, but are integral part of catalogue (in Aurum terms - body). (pic 3 and pic 4)

I have to add manually in the body text Author, Translator etc... and the attributes are in their own field. It's ok, but I have to add certain data about the book twice - once in the body and once in the attributes. What I'm writing is very much typical for bookstore, not for other shops.  The way how it is done in our Drupal page is more streamlined, in Aurum - I have to take care, how many page breaks are there between Author, Translator, Editor...and rest of body, and ISBN etc...

Not that Aurum is bad, far from it - I love it :)

    Thanks for listening.

    Hi Dalibor,

You are comparing two CMS systems, WordPress and Drupal and each of them has different functions, adding attributes to the description can be done but it requires coding knowledge, here you have an example how this can be done.

    Best regards,
    Laborator Team
