we're undergoing updates on our site, wanted to check is it possible to display a more traditional menu where there are drop down menus always visable? I know kalium has the ability to do it but its maybe to do with the particular version of it we're using? or im maybe just not looking in the right place in settings? I think the main demo version is the content we would have installed

Are there any options for a backround on the menu? or is it a case of coding it in?
we're also having a bit of an issue with the slider - on the home page - we can the clean images displying but there is a kind of filter on top of the image. Iv'e checked the filters in all the slides and turned the filters off but this is making no difference

I can give you a code for the header background color as there is not any option to do that from the theme options.
Regarding the slider, that is not a theme related question but please check the dotted overlay as explained in Revolution Slider documentation.
