    hi, I have just updated my Kalium theme and now the featured pictures on my blog are not appearing when using Chrome and Firefox. I have tested on Safari and that seems to be ok.

    Thanks

    Hi kaychin,

    I have checked your site in my Chrome browser (and Firefox as well) and the images are showing properly as you can see in the video:

    Is there anything I am missing here?

    Hi Arlind,

    Thanks.

    The front page and all other pages work beautifully with your theme.
    The problems I encountered are with blog posts where the Featured pictures aren't showing.

    I have attached two screenshots of same page. The blank one was using Firefox browser. The one with the image showing was with Safari.

    Some of the pages affected include:

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

    Hi kaychin,

    I have investigated this issue and found that the problem is with "srcset" attribute set by JetPack:

    medium
    (view large image)

    So I have removed it and it instantly turned to work:

    I suggest you to disable the JetPack Photo extension and the images will work. This issue is related to Firefox and how it renders the images, because as you can see the images are rendered on other browsers and if it happens to not render then the problem is still related to srcset.

    Hi Arlind,

    Thanks again,

    I was not able to find JetPack photo extension on my site but i fiddled a bit with the Site Accelerator, turning off Lazy load images as well as Speed up image load times buttons. Eventually I deactivated the JetPack app altogether and then things seem to load normally.

    I have reactivated JetPack again with Lazy load images as well as Speed up image load times buttons still off and now it seems normal.

    Will monitor for a while. Thanks for your help.

    thanks Arlind. Will continue monitoring n will alert you will it starts acting up again.

    I do have another unrelated question about how to change the red Read More button. Can you help?

    So far I’m loving this theme.

    You can either change the button color with custom CSS (less recommended) or by changing the layout in Grid Builder, so here you have answer for each solution:

    1. By adding this CSS you can change the button color:

    .vc_btn3.vc_btn3-color-juicy-pink, .vc_btn3.vc_btn3-color-juicy-pink.vc_btn3-style-flat {
        background-color: #0000a0;
    }

    2. On Posts Grid you can modify the layout and create your own (more complicated):

    medium
    (view large image)

    Thanks again.

    I used both methods you recommended and managed to get quite a bit done.

    Hi kaychin,

    I'm happy to hear thatsmile.png

    Have a nice day!

    I will set this ticket as solved from here.

    P.S: If you like the theme, it would help us a lot if you could give us a five-star rating on Themeforest from your Downloads tab.

    A huge thank you from me and Laborator in advance.
